Fortepiano after "Johannes Andreas Stein, 1782""
This is a copy of one of the finest early pianos by Johannes Andreas Stein, Mozart's favourite maker. Bright sound and lightness of the touch cohabit in this instrument, which is well suited for the piano repertoire of the 18th century.
An extra note (g3) is supplied on request, in order to allow for playing later music, after the period in which Stein made the instrument.
I also make walnut or mahogany-veneered instruments.
